Thank you very much to both Valérie Blayac and Thibault Fregoni for an indulging night discovering unique Cognacs, Calvados and Armagnacs together with the beautiful chocolates of Monsieur Truffe.
I think the attendees will remember this night as resolutely different. One of the attendees described as "a voyage to France, a discovery for the senses".

Join Monsieur Truffe (Thibault Fregoni) when he opens the doors of his bean-to-bar chocolate factory for a unique opportunity to see how chocolate is made, from cocoa roasting to conching. See and understand the process of making chocolate from the bean, including a chocolate appreciation workshop, discovering a selection of single origin chocolates and tasting Monsieur Truffe's inimitable hot chocolate.

Liquid indulgence 
700 years of Armagnac

Discover Armagnac, France's oldest spirit, celebrating its 700th anniversary in this appreciation workshop presented by Valerie Blayac from Spirits of France. Your evening of sensory discovery will include tastings of three Armagnacs and two Cognacs, accompanied by chocolates from Monsieur Truffe at his café in Smith St.

Book now for this unique pâtisserie masterclass with Pierrick Boyer on Saturday 14th August from 2 to 4pm at Le Petit Gâteau, 458 little Collins St in the CBD.
The pâtisserie demonstration will be followed by coffee and sharing cakes with Pierrick in the privatized café.

Come and join us for a Cultural and culinary tour de France in July on your bikes! Byo bikes to celebrate the Tour de France!

A bit of an opportunity to digest on the Saturday Food tour as we ride our bikes from Fitzroy to Carlton and to the CBD. No problem for parking and no guilty after thoughts following the chocolate tasting and pastries from Monsieur Truffe.
So by the time we get to lunch at Bistro Vue, we have worked a new appetite!

Book now, only 2 tours available on bikes and limited to 6-8 people.

The feedback on the free workshops at the Convent has been amazing. Thank you very much to our partners for sharing their expertise, savoir faire and passion with 60 people throughout the day and for giving out gifts for the Cassis draw!

Cassis finished its first year on a high note with several corporate events in late November and December to celebrate the end of the year!
There were plenty of opportunities to make it to Boire, which Françoise and I really enjoyed!

The November event not to be missed is the Chocolate appreciation masterclass with Laurent Meric on Friday 13th November in the Cacao shop in Fitzroy St, St Kilda.
A reminder that Cassis clients can enjoy a 10% discount for this event.

This was the first Cassis Art de Vivre event! And what a great way to start with Gilles Lapalus, winemaker from Sutton Grange Winery taking us through a discovery of Bordeaux wines in the beautiful Gallery Montmartre in Fitzroy!
